  • Abstract
    A microwave industrial installation for high-intensity thermal grain processing has been developed. An approach to create the optimal design of waveguide working chamber of the microwave installation operating in the traveling wave mode is offered. The installation is started-up and further experimentally investigated in operation at microwave power of 25 kW. The parameters of high-intensity heat treatment of grain and grain products, which have indicated a promising application of the developed microwave installation in the agriculture and food industry, are defined.
