Abstract
To be an effective manager you must be able to embrace and control change. People are the key to the effective management of change-how to organise and motivate them, and how they perceive relationships and opportunities. Here, the authors describe Destiny, an approach that uses a diagnostic PC software tool to help managers understand how their companies really work. Destiny thus enhances the prospects for appropriate change, and decreases the chances of implementing costly changes that may not work well.
