Abstract :
Knowledge management is a critical part of the business environment, especially in decision making. Most of the current business intelligence models separate knowledge management from the business process. Real-time business intelligence provides the same functionality as business intelligence but operates on data extracted from operational data sources with zero latency and provides the means to propagate actions back into business processes in real time. Therefore, the greatest need for knowledge management is in real-time business intelligence applications, which depend on making decisions at critical times. This paper suggests a model for integrating knowledge management capabilities into a real-time business intelligence process. This model will assist the business environment by facilitating the process of decision making.
