Abstract
We use a hydraulic model to study the electric pressure instability mechanism in the case of a non-ohmic/non-ohmic fluid interface. The relevant parameters of the problem are determined and the results compared with the case of an ohmic/ohmic interface. We also analyze the effect of the action of polarization interfacial charges on the pressure instability mechanism.
