Abstract :
This paper presents a new synchronous control scheme of distributed motor drives using a fast communication network. The proposed control enables distributed drives to behave as if they are mechanically coupled. The influence of a disturbance in one subsystem is extended to the others. Through simulation, the proposed system is shown to realize more precise synchronous motion than conventional systems
