Abstract :
The efficiency improvement applied to the minimum-external-component-count active snubber boost converter by a new timing diagram is presented. The ZCS condition occurs over the auxiliary switch at the turn on state. The main switch achieves ZVS turn on condition. The effectiveness of the proposed control-timing diagram soft-switching active snubber boost converter is verified experimentally.
