Abstract :
Four “AGRISERVER”s, which is a sensing network system, have been operating over extended periods at a grape farm, a chestnut farm, an apple farm, and a paprika green house in Obuse-town, Nagano, Japan. Now large amounts of data are collected from the farms, so we consider data usage for multipurpose applications in agriculture related industries. In this paper, we propose several applications for 1) cultivation and management, 2) communication between agricultural society and people, 3) agribusiness, and 4) education.
