Abstract :
Using the Finite Integration Technique to solve Maxwell´s equations in the time domain allows to analyze the broadband transmission behavior of waveguides in a very efficient way. Of particular interest here are inhomogeneous waveguides containing low loss dielectrics and carrying QTEM modes, like microstrip lines.
