  • Abstract
    In this paper, a multi-sensor system is employed to obtain a high accuracy PD signal by using an antenna, air-cored coil and acoustic sensor. A proposed algorithm based on multi-resolution signal decomposition is adopted for extracting the PD signals buried in excessive noise. The PD signals are compared and processed with a novel mask filter. The results show that this filter not only removes the noise successively, but also preserves the PD pulse amplitude.
