Abstract
The paper considers designing of 32-40 GHz 0.15 μm GaAs pHEMT two-stage MMIC low-noise amplifier (LNA). The software tool Geneamp for the automated synthesis of linear microwave amplifiers is used for the designing. The full development cycle is described from the selection of LNA structure to the creation of MMIC layout. The use of the Geneamp tool has resulted in simpler and faster development of the MMIC LNA.
