  • Abstract
    Virtual reference feedback tuning (VRFT) is a method to derive a model reference controller directly from a single set of measured input-output data of a plant. This paper presents a VRFT for H model reference, which is an extension of the standard VRFT for H2 model reference. In contrast to the standard VRFT, the proposed method employs a signal representation as a lower triangular Toeplitz matrix. Then, the controller design is performed as a linear matrix inequality (LMI) optimization.
