Abstract :
The SP (signal processing) Education Laboratory (an educational project at the University of Michigan) is a software package designed to provide a highly interactive, flexible environment within which students can explore basic concepts of signal processing. The authors summarize the basic features of this software, some of the reasoning behind certain design decisions, and experience in using this software as a teaching tool.<>
