Abstract :
The results of computer analysis of high current density electron beams for THz vacuum electron devices are presented. The analysis of magnetic focusing of the low perveance electron flows in electron optical systems with the guns using the thermionic and field emission cathodes is carried out at the current density more than 100-300 A/cm2 in drift space.
