Abstract :
In this paper, the method for deriving the optimal time-to-go for simultaneous attack and how to guide the missiles to impact the target at a designated time are proposed. The optimal time-to-go is obtained easily by considering the homothetic property of optimal trajectories, and the missiles participating in simultaneous attack are guided suboptimally to satisfy the final time constraint by applying one of the optimal guidance laws. Simulation results show that proposed method achieves a simultaneous attack with less control effort than other cooperative homing method.
