Abstract :
There are various types of snow particle, like hail, sleet, snowflake, etc. Understanding the differences of density of snow particles allow to better estimate the precipitation rate with the meteorological radar. The purpose of this study is to calculate the snowfall rate and the snow depth using three electronic balances and 2-dimensional video distrometer and to estimate the density of the snow particle as a relation between snowfall rate and snow depth at a short time interval.
