Abstract :
The results of experimental study of the electrodynamic characteristics of a slow-wave structure such as a folded waveguide and its modifications depending on the size and configurations are presented. The possibility of the coupling impedance minus the first space harmonic increase for 1.5÷2 times is demonstrated by introducing rectangular patches in the folded-waveguide interaction space area at an insignificant decrease of the working frequency bandwidth.
