Abstract :
We carried out a computer simulation of electron-optical systems of multibeam TV IOT with a single-stage depressed collector and single-beam magnetless mini-IOT (having electrostatic focusing). To enhance beam structure and current throughput the control grids with additional radial jumpers are proposed. The amount of radial and circular jumpers was optimized. Experimental testing of these electron guns showed good agreement with results of simulation.
