Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to consider how to build portable and low-cost measurement and control systems for engineering design courses to increase student motivation and learning skills. Several examples are introduced in this paper for classroom use and self-study projects based on our experience. A community website was launched in order to share knowledge and experience of design projects to promote innovative approaches in engineering education.
