Abstract :
The article describes the design of a millimeter wave gyrotron at the second harmonic gyrofrequency. The gyrotron operates in the mode TE06, with efficiency of 27%, the pinch factor q = 1.3, accelerating voltage is 20 kV, current is 5.2 A and output power is 28 kW at operating frequency 300 GHz.
