Abstract :
In this paper, we elaborate on the recently introduced concept of invisibility ldquoanti-cloakrdquo. With reference to a general two-dimensional scenario, featuring a cloak and an anti-cloak separated by a vacuum layer, our full-wave analytical study provides new insightful results and explores the effects of departure from ideality. In particular, besides the originally proposed ldquocloak-countermeasurerdquo application by Chen et al., our results suggest the possibility of intriguing field-tunneling phenomena, and somehow relax the complexity of the anti-cloak practical realization.
