Abstract :
One reasonable way to alleviate the problems of navigation in current hypermedia systems is to construct a search space in accordance with user´s view of a query. To do so, the hypermedia system must accumulate sufficient amount of semantic information about its hypermedia databases (HDB). This paper describes a conceptual structure to efficiently represent and store semantic information inherent in each node of a HDB. Also, A concept concretization operation is set up to characterize inherent semantic information of a node. This scheme allows a user to express his/her intent into a query only with descriptors and without any structural information about the HDB. It enables the system to execute content-based search.<>
