Abstract :
In this paper we present a biologically-inspired robotic exploration and navigation model based on the neurophysiology of the rat hippocampus that allows a robot to find goals and return home autonomously by building a topological map of the environment. We present simulation and experimentation results from a T-maze tested and discuss future research
