Abstract
The technique of cognitive radio network deployment for joint spectrum allocation between GSM and LTE was presented. A new approach to cognitive radio spectrum sensing is designed. We suggest using well localized window functions in order to achieve better energy and spectral efficiency of the network. Simulation results show the advantage of localized signals in terms of signal noise ratio in 8% and 15% for AWGN and Rayleigh channels respectively.
