The system of micro-wave integrated TV/radio information of multiservice radio access “UMDS”

Presented the results of the studies of the problem of the provision of multi-service radio access to information resources on the territory of Ukraine, including the rural areas, mountain regions and regions with a low level of income. A description of the designed on the basis of radio technologies MITRIS microwave TV/radio information system of multiservice radio access UMDS with the use of the frequency bands of 11.7-12.5 per GHz and 12.75-13.25 GHz direct channels and with the use of reverse channel in ranges frequency 5.15-5.85 GHz; 12.75-13.25 GHz. Shown the possibility of the introduction of the developed system UMDS as one of the promising directions in the creation of technical bases for development of information society and sustainable development of sphere of telecommunications and Informatization in Ukraine.
