Abstract :
This paper presents the theory of design of a fuzzy controller by using fuzzy reasoning. The controller is composed of a set of linguistic control rules which are conditional linguistic statements describing the algorithm for the process control as a fuzzy relation between information about the condition of the process to be controlled, and the input for the process. The fuzzy control theory has been used to design a controller for tracking a single target and for controlling the speed of an automobile. Some simulation results of these two controllers are presented in this paper
