Abstract :
The tube is a key mechanical component in industry, and the test of tubes is very important. The interference can be eliminated effectively in multi-frequency eddy current tube test. This paper designed a multi-frequency eddy current test (ECT) system based on direct digital synthesizer (DDS) technique, and the phase rotation and subtraction arithmetic was applied in it. Then we did some test experiments in tube specimen. The experiments show that this system works well, detects defects sensitively and eliminates the support plate interference effectively.
