Abstract :
The NRZ-M classic code is analyzed as a source with memory of first order. We proved that the information quantities specific to transmission channels can be extended to the NRZ-M code, its analysis being so more refined. We also propose generalizations of the line code NRZ-M, for which information quantities were calculated.
