Abstract :
Object-oriented programming languages show great potential for exploiting concurrency and parallelism. This paper presents a parallel object-oriented language called ParaObject, and its implementation issues on multiprocessors. First, an overview of the language ParaObject is given. Then, the most challenging implementation problems are discussed.<>
