Abstract :
The paper raises selected problems connected with non-electrical quantity measurements in hazardous areas of ships. The main topic of presented paper is concentrated on simplified analysis of restrictions concerning load characteristics of measurement channels and identification of additional errors occurring the current signal transmission under considered conditions. Mathematical description of above mentioned limitations and also simple and communicative graphical method of determination of an admissible area of operation. Additional errors are based on concrete examples such as temperature measurement on liquid gas tankers
