Abstract :
Tasks of Ukrainian National Antarctic Data Center development and reasons of information transmission system development are discussed. Two main system architecture variants, their advantages and disadvantages, specifics of the existent project are defined. Basic operating principles for each of the variants, key architectural elements and their main functions are described. On basis of obtained comparison the choice on web-service based system was made.
