Modeling of distributed workflow for National Antarctic Data Center processes automation

In this work the problem of the automation of business processes for the organization of collective work in a distributed environment of knowledge portals is under consideration. Primarily, it was done the analysis of work processes of the National Antarctic Data Center (NADC). For selecting of the methodology of its subsequent formal description the comparison of the most popular methodologies designed to describe and implement of workflows was carried out. Then the analysis of the resulting conceptual scheme of NADC data processing with subsequent improvement was held.
