Abstract :
The work concerns the developing methods for processing of color map images to improve their quality. Improving of their quality is provided owing to adjusting the intensity component of the image in color space HSI by means of the gamma correction method. Input and output data are expressed in RGB color space. The proposed method can be used for the processing of low-quality aerial photographs.
