Abstract :
In this paper, a fuzzy PID control method is proposed to solve the effect of dynamic uncertainty and external load of permanent-magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). First, a mathematical model of the PMLSM is established, PID control algorithm and fuzzy control algorithm are all described briefly. Second, to improve the performance of the PMLSM drive system, a fuzzy PID controller constructed by a fuzzy controller and a PID controller is designed. It is applied to the speed-control loop of PMLSM drive system to cope with the effect of the system dynamic uncertainty and the external load. Finally, a servo motor simulated system composed by a PMLSM, a fuzzy PID controller and other elements is established to verify the effectiveness of the proposed high performance control system.
