Abstract :
It is thought that the quality of grapes has an influence on the quality of wine. However, vines are cultivated under severe climate condition which changes time to time. Therefore, the appropriate management practice is imperative. For the reason, long-term monitoring for cultivation environment and scientific understanding of viticulture are required for smart viticultural management. As for the supportive ICT device meeting the requirements, there is a wireless sensor network and it has been widely applied in agriculture. We have also been working on researches using a wireless sensor network. However, there are great issues in gateway and base station as well as application of sensors in consideration of cultivation environment. In this pare therefore, we attempted the reconstruction of data acquisition system, the development of data collecting program and the applications of sensors, in order to achieve long-term data acquisition system enabling to associate data with viticulture.
