Abstract :
Automatic enforcement system has been installed to prevent speeding of vehicles in Korea. This system finds registration number and informs violation to car owner analyzing picture of speeding vehicle. This paper discusses the implementation of vehicles location search hardware to search for license plate of speeding vehicle. Vehicles location search algorithm was designed considering hardware implementation. Proposed algorithm calculates vehicles and boundary of background and finds maximum value. This paper suggests processing scheme in input device of image and simulation of its performance. Proposed scheme has 20.7% speed up performance
