  • Abstract
In this study, authors suggested that the system which considered difference of culture by a language and gesture movement in the interaction by greetings with the robot. In the interaction, verbal and nonverbal information are important to do natural communication. Authors focused on that not only languages but also gesture movement which is different from cultures. It is necessary for even communication between a human and a robot to take in the difference of culture. This paper inspected that whether the greetings from a robot were different or not in human stress and brain activity. It was measured by pulse wave obtained from a finger and brain blood flow made use of NIRS. As a result, different biometric signals were detected in the different reaction of languages and gestures.
