Abstract :
A new buck-boost type converter that can operate with a low dc bus voltage that has significantly less variability than the voltage in other single-stage converters is proposed in the paper. The operation of the new converter is discussed and general guidelines for its design are given in the paper. The feasibility of the converter is confirmed with results obtained from experimental prototype
