Abstract :
The paper discusses possible ways to reduce energy consumption in wireless sensor networks. Limit power consumption connected with the fact that the sensors are fed by a power source with limited power limit (typically battery). The more unfrequently they will be replaced or recharged, the lower cost their service will have. Also, power consumption is an important limitation in the use of sensors with complicated access to them; therefore, the power supply unit can not be replaced or recharged. To solve this problem, we examined five possible options to reduce energy consumption.
