Abstract
Singular value decomposition (SVD), one of the most basic and important tools of numerical linear algebra, is finding increasing application in digital signal processing. In this paper, a novel systolic array SVD algorithm is presented. It is suitable for implementing on a versatile one-dimensional array processor and has been implemented on the Linear Systolic Array Processor, LiSAP.<>
