  • Abstract
    Personal computers equipped with data acquisition boards are a powerful tool for research and for routine data collection. The same equipment may be used also for improving the resolution and uncertainty of the measurement. An improvement of more than 20 dB may be reached in the best cases, if one is able to optimise the filtering of incoming interference and noise. The paper presents a simulator for the design of noise processing and discusses basic possibilities of the optimisation
