Abstract :
Brllouin optical time domain reflectometry is one of the popular methods of Brillouin distributed fiber sensing measurement. The spatial resolution of BOTDR system could reach meter order. For many applications, the temperature distribution of object is not a constant in the spatial resolution, and temperature gradient exists inside the scope. The relationship between Brillouin backscattering spectrum with temperature gradient is analyzed, and the error of temperature determination caused by the temperature gradient is investigated.
