Abstract :
Failure may occur when an oil-filled transformer system is running. This paper present a method for predicting the condition of oil-filled power transformers. The analysis can obtain the inference from past data of transformer failure. The paper establishes a nonhomogenous Poisson procedure (NHPP) model for the power transformer system reliability. The paper analyzes the parameters of the model of the system reliability, gives sufficient and essential conditions for parameters resolution when one obtains the full failure data, or some failure data lost. It is shown to be an effective method to determine the insulation condition of a power transformer system.
