Abstract
Weighted sum rate maximization with general convex transmit power constraints is considered for cellular multiuser multiple-input multiple-output systems. We propose low complexity joint beamformer design and scheduling for complex systems with large number of served user terminals. Particular focus is given to systems with fast fading channel conditions, where fast rate of convergence is required as the channel coherence time is strictly limited. The proposed method provides more effective definition of efficient solutions and better convergence properties, when compared to conventional gradient based approximation methods.
