Abstract :
Amplitudes of electromagnetic fields in the near zone of aperture antennas are investigated theoretically. Amplitude distributions of the field on the aperture are homogeneous and cosine ones. The influence of quadratic phase distributions of the field on the aperture is investigated. It is shown that they allow supporting near to uniform distribution of the electromagnetic field power on some limited planes parallel to the aperture or inside of some volume in the near zone of the antenna.
