Abstract :
Specificities of the method for determining antenna radiation pattern in spherical near-field measurements are presented for cases when in antenna-object system there is a significant distance between an assumed antenna phase center and a measurement sphere center. The required number of spherical harmonics is justified theoretically and experimentally. Specificities of antenna diagnostic for flat aperture antennas and planar phased arrays are considered in terms of narrow-band and ultra broadband spherical near-field measurements.
