Abstract :
The algorithms and the applications of the wavelet transformation and wavelet analysis theory in filtering and denoising of MEMS gyro are presented in this paper. Gyro signals were decomposed into different scales by some basic wavelets to discard wavelet coefficients by soft threshold methods. Then the signal is filtered after wavelet reconstructed. Examples with actual experiment demonstrate that the method has apparent superiority. The results of the simulation indicate valid and practical on filtering and denoising of MEMS gyro´s method can also be used to process the output signal of other kinds of gyroscopes.
