Abstract :
In this work, the electrical characteristics of organic solar cell with glycerol doped PEDOT:PSS as buffer layer have been studied at room temperature. A 4% of glycerol has been mixed to the PEDOT:PSS. The electronic parameters such as ideality factor, barrier height, series resistance and shunt resistance of the device are calculated from the current-voltage plot. The glycerol doping procedure has enhanced the electrical junction mechanism in the PEDOT:PSS, thus improved the performance of the organic solar cell with the modified buffer layer.
