Abstract
The γ´/γ interfacial chemistry of a blade of Inconel 718 alloy after service in an airplane engine is investigated using transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and 3DAP technique. Results show that the size of both grain and precipitates and the interfacial chemistry are stable after service.
