Abstract :
Descriptions for binary images are important in image processing systems. In this paper, we design many data structures to describe image features and realize an algorithm using connectivity analysis (some similar to labeling algorithm) to extract these features. In practice, these methods are applied in robot´s peg-in-hole assembly. Vision here is used for analyzing images of parts (some holes in them). It proves that these data structures are very useful in binary image processing.<>
