  • Abstract
It is known that multicarrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) systems suffer from intersymbol interference (ISI) and intercarrier interference (ICI). In this paper, we introduce new semi-blind time domain equalization (TEQ) techniques for downlink MC-CDMA systems. This equalization exploits the guard interval redundancy (GI) together with the information given by a pilot sequence in one hand and the spreading code matrix in other hand. We propose in a second contribution an adaptive algorithm for the estimation and tracking of the equalizer that has a faster convergence rate. Extensive performance evaluation are given at the end of this paper to assess the effectiveness of the proposed methods in MC-CDMA.
